Prairie County Jail Mugshots Overview

Where Prairie County Mugshots Appear

A person arrested last night may appear in both New Inmates and Current Inmates if still held. Request Prairie County Booking Photos
When a Prairie County booking photo is not visible online, the request path depends on where the record lives. RPS-Inmate Info is especially important in Prairie County because the sheriff's detention page points users to that app for the roster. The App Store listing advertises jail booking and mugshot information by city or county, including name, picture, arrested location, arrested date, released date, charges, PBR, and court date. The Google Play listing identifies Relativity Inc. as the publisher, notes 100K+ downloads, and lists a September 2, 2025 update date.

The app is a custody and jail-information tool. No app-only Prairie County warrant search, most-wanted list, or records-request feature was confirmed.
Arkansas Mugshot Access Rules
Arkansas public-records law generally makes public records open to Arkansas citizens unless an exemption applies. Booking records and booking photos can be public records, but release depends on the custodian and the facts around the record. A mugshot tied to an undisclosed investigation, juvenile matter, sealed case, medical or mental-health information, or protected identifying information may be withheld or redacted.

The practical Prairie County rule is to start with the public RPS roster, then ask the sheriff or custodian for a copy if the online view no longer displays the booking photo. A court filing may explain the charge, but courts are not mugshot repositories.
How Long Prairie County Mugshots Stay Online
No official Prairie County source was found that states exactly how long a mugshot remains visible beyond the RPS public views. The research found current inmate entries, New Inmates for the last 48 hours, and Recent Releases for the last 48 hours. Historical or prior booking photos were not documented as a separate public archive.
This matters when a family member is one day behind the roster. If a person was booked, released, and removed from Current Inmates, the Recent Releases tab is the next county-level place to check. If the 48-hour window has passed, the online roster may no longer help, and a custodian request may be needed.

State and Federal Photo Limits
Arkansas DOC profile photos are different from Prairie County jail mugshots. The DOC locator can show a state inmate photo, ADC number, facility, sentence history, parole or transfer eligibility date, detainers, and classification data. That photo is tied to state corrections custody, not to the original county booking display.
Federal and immigration systems are even more distinct. The BOP locator is useful for sentenced federal custody from 1982 to present, but it is not a public mugshot gallery. A Prairie County RPS entry can show a Hold for U.S. Marshals, yet the person may not appear in BOP if the matter is federal pretrial custody. ICE ODLS is used for ICE custody location and requires A-number and country of birth or biographic data. It does not search county jail mugshots.
Prairie County Mugshot Removal
No Prairie County-specific mugshot-removal policy was located in official sources. If a case is dismissed, sealed, expunged, or otherwise restricted, the right first step is to identify the custodian. The sheriff or jail custodian controls booking-photo and booking-record display. The court controls court sealing orders. Arkansas DOC controls state-prison profile records. Separate third-party publishers are outside the official county process.
A sealing or expungement order may not automatically change every public display at the same time. A person seeking removal should keep copies of the court order and send them to the proper custodian with a specific request.
